1. Key points for correct selection

Short-distance road construction waste transportation selects regular rubber tire cushions; for mining gravel, heavy-load transporting of coal, priority is to use thickened butyl rubber tire cushions; it is strictly prohibited to use a small tire with a large cushion or a small cushion with a large cushion, mismatched sizes are prone to curling and cutting the inner tire.

2. Standard installation operation

Before installing the tire cushion, clean the rust, burrs, and sand on the inner side of the wheel rim, if the wheel rim is deformed or curled, correct it before installing the tire cushion;

The tire cushion is laid flat on the inner side of the wheel rim, centered, without distortion or wrinkles, then installed into the inner and outer tires, do not force the tire body to deform and install;

The specifications and thickness of the tire cushions on the same axle should be consistent to avoid imbalance of tire pressure and unilateral tire wear.

3. Daily inspection and fault handling

Daily inspection

Check the tire pressure before each trip, monthly disassemble and inspect the tires, check if the tire cushion has cracked, bulged, or shifted, if there is local damage, replace immediately, do not repair and reuse.

Common fault handling

Slow air leakage frequently: mostly due to aging and damage of the tire cushion or small shape, replace with the same specification new tire cushion;

Regularly worn out on one side of the inner tire: the tire cushion is installed misaligned or the wheel rim has burrs, repair the wheel rim and reassemble;

Tire cushion melts due to high temperature: low tire pressure, long-term overloading, standard tire pressure + replace with a heat-resistant butyl tire cushion.

Storage and maintenance

Store the spare tire cushion in a light-protected and dry place, away from engine oil and diesel corrosion, rubber will expand and deteriorate significantly if exposed to oil.
